San Francisco Gastroenterology is proud to announce that Dr. Frank Farrell has been named a Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).  The AGA is the nation’s oldest medical society devoted to disorders of the gastrointestinal tract.

What is an AGA Fellowship?

An AGA Fellowship is awarded to physicians that exhibit superior professional achievement in the GI field. Fellowships are only awarded to a select group of doctors whose accomplishments and contributions demonstrate a personal commitment to the field of gastroenterology.

“We are pleased to announce the most recent inductees for the AGA Fellowship program,” said C. Richard Boland, MD, AGAF, AGA Institute President. “AGA Fellowship is an honor bestowed to members who have been recognized by their peers and community for superior professional achievement in practice and/or research in the field of gastroenterology.”

As a fellow, Dr. Farrell has demonstrated that he meets the strict set of criteria defined by the AGA, his peers and community. Congratulations, Dr. Farrell!

“I am honored to receive this recognition from the GI community. At San Francisco Gastroenterology, we strive to provide patients with superior GI care.” – Dr. Frank Farrell
